Etach 1.3.* and subsequent versions with odd minor numbers (after the
first decimal point) are "beta."  Use these if you want the latest
features.

Etach 1.2.* and subsequent versions with even minor numbers are
"stable."  Use these for more time-tested functionality.

The author always uses the latest released version, beta or not.  Use
of the "beta" version is encouraged, but users of beta versions are
doubly encouraged to regularly back up their RMAIL files and all other
mail-related files and directories before loading etach or using any
etach functions.
